Altyn — Emel. Zharkent. Temirlik Canyon. Kolsay. Kaindy. Charyn Canyon.
A four-day trip which gives you the opportunity to learn about the most interesting places in Kazakhstan.
Day one: transfer from Almaty to the Altyn Emel National Park. A stop in Basshi village, then we visit the mountains of Kutytau and Aktau, take a bath in a mineral spring (accommodation in tents near an old, 700 years old tree, or in a guesthouse in the village of Basshi).
Day two: sightseeing of the Singing Dunes, transfer to the city of Zharkent on the border with China (we will see a mosque in the Chinese style and the Russian church). We will spend the evening in Temrlik canyon. Accommodation in tents by the river with a bonfire, a starry sky, a magnificent view of the canyon.
Day three: Small Canyon, Yellow Canyon, Kolsai Lake, and Kaindy. Accommodation in tents, yurt or at local residents’ house with homemade food. You can take a Russian bath, and can milk the cows to get to know the country life.
Day four: Charyn Canyon. After that, we will return to the city. The total length of the route is 1,400 kilometers, of which 300 km are off-road.
